Attention all customers!!! Wheels Next has added new features to its site to better serve you!!! For starters, a "previously viewed" section has been created. This provides the website patron with a "drop-down list" (including pictures) of all wheels viewed during that visit. This will come in very handy when deciding which set of wheels to buy! The second and also very useful feature is the "share tab". This allows visitors to send images and technical data for any wheel to virtually anyone. Pretty cool!!! So check it out!!

Major power outage turns all South Florida dark

Unusually warm February weather in Florida has overloaded Florida Power & Light's (FPL) grid throughout Florida. Power went down in West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Broward, Miami-Dade, and Monroe Counties. Basically, every city from West Palm down the the Florida Keys experience a power outage.

Since the main wheelsnext.com main sales office is in South Florida, we too experienced power outage. Our generators and backups are running full steam and we are weathering the outages well. The new site was flooded with so much traffic and database queries that our current servers instantly became obsolete because they could not hold the load. As of January 24th, 2008, wheelsnext.com is 100% up to speed with a server cluster of 5 servers featuring the latest in web and database server technology. All our servers come with Dual Quad-Core Processors. This means that each server has 8 Processors! Not to mention, each server comes with 8 Gig's of RAM, 15,000 RPM hard-drives, and RAID configured SCSI drives.

Website Speed and Traffic

To all our valued customers, we must apologize for the slow speed of our new website.

We seem to be a victim of our own success. The website speed is slow and even crashing because since we launch our new Wheelsnext.com 4.0 site on December 17th, traffic has increased by over 60%! We are on pace to have over 300,000 unique visitors to our site this month.

We are currently upgrading and adding servers to our server cluster to better handle the traffic response. Our new server cluster should be operational within the next 48 hours.

We appreciate your patience, and hope you log-in to see the hundreds of new specials we will be uploading to the website on midnight, January 17th!

By Wednesday, December 19th, all glitches and bugs will be worked out on the newly launched WheelsNEXT 4.0 website. Some customers have reported that particular wheel applications that should fit their vehicles show that they do not fit. If you find a wheel that you believe fits your car, but the website says it doesn't, please call one of our wheel + tire experts to report the glitch and receive personal attention on your vehicle.

The 4th version of Wheelsnext.com has many upgraded user functionalities to improve the customer experience. WheelsNEXT 4.0 allows customers purchasing Wheel + Tire Combos to change and add the tire of their choosing. WheelsNEXT 4.0 also lets customers, for the first time, purchase wheels and tires separately. So if you don't want a Combo and just need a set of wheels or tires, you have been heard and this functionality is available. Lastly, for our staggered wheels and tires customers, staggered wheels, tires, and Combos are also pre-built and ready to go. Paypal and Google Shopping Checkout Now Available

On the new 'Wheelsnext.com 4.0' website launching in mid-December 2007 will now come with both Paypal and Google Shopping checkout. Customers with either Paypal or Google Shopping accounts will be able to purchase in just a couple of clicks. Additionally, with Paypal or Google Shopping checkouts, customers will also be able to ship to any address of their choosing. Less clicks and better shipping just in time for Christmas, Santa knows what you want...
